Land Spaces
Land Spaces are the areas of ground on the map and are separated by thick black lines to delineate their borders. Note that some Land Spaces are a small grouping of islands that are all connected into a single Space. Where these are adjacent to one or more other Land Spaces, there is a thick black line looped out around them to show the Space’s border (such as the British Isles or Japan).
For example, the British Isles is a Land Space that is adjacent to the Western Europe Space. Even though there is a thin strip of water that appears to separate the two Spaces, the thick black line looped out around the islands shows that models can move from one Land Space to the other without having to go out to Sea.
